＜Second collaboration with GT-R＞
This is the second collaboration model between NEGRONI and NISSAN GT-R 2025 model. Ltd. Hiroshi Tamura (Brand Ambassador) and Mitsugi Morita (Senior Manager, Advanced Design Department, Global Design Division), two key persons in the development of the NISSAN GT-R, have joined as advisors to create a new version of Negroni's signature driving sneaker, the "Idea Corsa". Based on the symbolic coloring of the GT-R 2025 model, the coloring and expression of the materials, as well as the fine details such as logo fittings, have been tuned to the special specifications unique to the GT-R edition. The GT-R Edition is a special edition of the GT-R. 　

＜IDEA CORSA GT-R Edition＞
The IDEA CORSA is NEGRONI's flagship model designed to be the ideal driving shoe. It boasts outstanding maneuverability and comfort in sports driving thanks to its powerful fit that holds the entire foot in place. Its exceptional foot feel was discovered by Mr. Tamura, who worked on the development of the GT-R and Fairlady Z for many years, and this collaboration was realized. The heel guard has been updated with a powerful design inspired by the NISSAN GT-R tail design. The accent piping line is a red color inspired by the NISMO exterior. The tongue portion has been changed to a three-dimensional shape to achieve a better fit than the Idea Corsa base grade.　

＜BAYSIDE "WANGAN" BLUE＞
In order to express the color of Wangan Blue, one of the most iconic body colors of the past Nissan GT-Rs, we customized the usual Negroni leather manufacturing process and applied pearl metallic between two different blue dyes to create a strong, compelling color. We have reproduced a vivid blue color that makes a strong statement not only in sunlight, but also in interior light and inside the car. The blue colored stitching on the carbon leather is also a feature of this work.


＜Beautiful emblem expression＞
The GT-R emblem, which took many trials and errors, is reproduced with nickel plating and two types of coloring, pearl red and black. In particular, there is only about 1mm clearance between the middle of the GT and the center of the R, so the process of injecting black paint is completed through an extremely difficult process. These emblems are made by a skilled domestic hardware manufacturer.

The “technique of embedding the GT-R logo into the embossed leather”, which was made possible by Mr. Dasamura's persistence and the skills of Negroni's craftsmen, was designed to mimic the details of the steering wheel. The technique of embossing the leather by thinning the back of the material at the level of the grain and adjusting the thickness of the grain and the core, is the work of a Negroni craftsman and is the only way to achieve this model's unique craftsmanship.


＜Fit considerations＞
The Idea Corsa shoe is developed based on a 3E shoe shape. The width and instep have sufficient volume, so it has an excellent balance that can conform to the foot shape of many Japanese people. The Negroni leather used for the upper is sturdy and versatile, making it a very user-friendly version of the Idea Corsa variation. In addition, the bucket insole with excellent arch and heel hold, developed especially for this version, improves the overall rigidity of the shoe and provides a more sensible maneuvering feel.　

＜Driving Considerations＞
The shoes can be used sufficiently not only for general lifestyle driving, but also for a wide range of situations such as three-pedal sports driving and tough speed attacks. The high driving performance of these shoes has been highly evaluated, and they are not only used in the development standards of leading super sports cars in Japan and abroad, but are also regularly used as evaluation criteria in the motorsports impressions of car TV programs broadcast in Europe. These shoes are also highly recommended for those who want to experience Negroni's driving shoes first hand.
