New "Made in Japan" Negroni leather

Negroni leather has been made using the same recipe since 2000,
However, in the summer of this year, the manufacturer was changed in order to update the quality. The raw hides have been changed from the North American raw materials originally used to pure Japanese materials. High-quality cowhide delivered from Hokkaido is now used. The recipe has also been greatly improved, with a slightly matt texture, a well-proportioned grain and a luxurious, plump, thick silver tip. All in all, we consider the new Negroni leather to be our most satisfying ever. The update also includes a new smooth version of Negroni leather. Please check the quality of the new "purely Japanese" Negroni leather.


The Grand Tourer for travellers
GRAND TOURER The GRAND TOURER replaces the upper of the TOURER with a rubber sole for improved driving performance. The slightly sharp toe silhouette makes it well-balanced with set-up and business styles, and it has the versatility to do the job of a single pair, such as travelling with driving or dress code during an overseas business trip. In addition, the standard rubber shoe laces allow the shoes to be taken on and off without removing the laces if a shoehorn is used, making them comfortable to use on the road.

The Fit concept
The unique fit of being wrapped in this single piece of leather can only be experienced with the TOURER. The basic structure is very similar to the QUATTRO, which is also a chukka boot model, but the layered lining construction of the latest ultra-suede ®︎ and lining leather allows the rich comfort of a chukka boot to be pursued to the limit.

The design of the wooden pattern uses the same sole gauge (bottom dimension) as the Grand Prix High Top and Spearhead, so the sizing is similar to these models (GRS wooden pattern). The concept of the S-curve, which captures the entire foot three-dimensionally, is also followed in this wooden pattern, so you can feel a high-quality fit as if you were wearing a custom-made shoe. In contrast to the seemingly sharp appearance, the toe is thick enough to provide space for the toes to move. The fit is not tight and stiff, as is often the case with ordinary dress shoes, but actually creates a comfortable space that cannot be imagined from the exterior when the foot is actually placed in the shoe.
The cuff is set slightly lower than the 'Tourer', so there is a good balance for driving cars with a low driving position.

Driving performance
The unique fit of the Chukka boot, which stops at the instep, is extremely well suited to driving, making it ideal for cruising around town and light sports driving. The Grand Tourer also offers a perfect handling experience in three-pedal manual transmission sports car driving.
