Quattro has all the necessary elements as a driving shoe, yet the design is kept simple and modern. The upper is made of smoking calf leather providing very smooth touch. The smokey unevenness that appears by buffing on the white wax saturated in the leather creates an emotional look. Adding to that, the uniquely low heel-line, which is designed not to interfere with the pedal work, the excellent fit that the upper almost feels as if it sucks onto the foot, and the outstanding holdability that is unique to these chukka type boots can be described as a new driving shoes that broke grounds with new ideas.
〈Fitting and Sizing〉
Quattro is very well suited to all sorts of scenes whether it is driving, walking or everyday use. The smoking calf leather used on the upper is one of the softest leathers we use. White wax is soaked into the entire leather, after being tanned and dyed by the skilled Tuscan tannery. The flexibility of the leather increases as they are worn and flexed, by the characteristics of the wax, giving them a very nice aging look at the same time. The combination of the leather and the three-dimensional bucket insole brings out the best of the Quattro.
Quattro is designed based on 3E shoe last, which should give it a plenty of room in both its width and instep area. Although, it might feel a little tight around the instep area at first, as the it is designed to provide good amount of hold especially around that area, compared to other models. If you have particularly high instep, please consult our customer support to discuss possibilities, as we do do bespoke modifications.
〈Driving〉
Can be used for all kinds of scenes from normal daily driving to proper hard driving at track days. The Grid is notably comfortable, when walking around in general.
