Japanese Driving Shoe Brand "Negroni" Launches Collaboration Model with NISSAN GT-R 2024 Model

The long-awaited collaboration between NEGRONI and NISSAN GT-R has finally been realized. A total of four iconic models featuring the latest NISSAN GT-R 2024 model's coloring and fine details throughout the model are now available. The lineup includes the much talked about special NISSAN GT-R PREMIUM EDITION T-SPEC and the NISSAN GT-R NISMO motif livery.

The ultimate collaboration model that fully expresses the world view of the Nissan GT-R 2024 model.

This second collaboration project is the result of the participation of two key figures in the development of the NISSAN GT-R, Hiroshi Tamura (Brand Ambassador, Product Planning Division) and Mitsuyoshi Morita (Senior Manager, Advanced Design Department, Global Design Division), both of Nissan Motor Co. Mr. Hiroshi Tamura (Brand Ambassador, Product Planning Division) and Mr. Mitsugi Morita (Senior Manager, Advanced Design Department, Global Design Division) from Nissan Motor Company, participated as advisors and modified the "Idea Corsa," Negroni's signature driving sneaker, into a pattern specifically for the Nissan GT-R model. The coloring and expression of the material, as well as the logo hardware and other fine detailing adjustments, were tuned to the special specifications unique to the GT-R edition.

In addition to the base grade Perforated White model, the IDEA CORSA T-spec EDITION in Millennium Jade color (limited to 140 pairs worldwide), which was created from materials matching the color of the car body, and the NISSAN GT-R NISMO coloring and world view faithfully reproduced in this work IDEA CORSA GT-R NISMO EDITION (two colors), which faithfully reproduces the coloring and world view of the NISSAN GT-R NISMO, for a total lineup of four models. Among them, the NISSAN GT-R "Millennium Jade," which originated from the R34 Skyline GT-R, was created from the material planning stage with more than a dozen color scheme proposals, and the optimal approximate color was searched for many times together with designer Mr. Morita by comparing and verifying the actual car body color when exposed to various types of light. Expressing the complex gradation of Millennium Jade in leather was an extremely difficult project, but we were able to achieve unanimous agreement on the quality of the final product by working with a leather tannery with the highest level of technology in Japan to exquisitely adjust the dyeing and glazing of the leather.

The special gold T-Spec logo parts developed for this project and the beautiful combination with the dark green interior color make this the ultimate collaborative model that fully expresses the world view of this vehicle.

The special attention paid by Mr. Tamura, who has been using the Idea Corsa for many years, and the craftsmanship of Negroni's proud craftsmen, have resulted in the creation of the ultimate collaboration model.The "technique of embedding the GT-R logo in the embossed leather" was realized by Mr. Tamura, who has been a longtime fan of the Idea Corsa, and the craftsmanship of the Negroni craftsmen.The technique was designed to mimic the detailing on the steering wheel. The thickness of the back side of the leather material is thinned in parts by hand, and the thickness of the leather and the thickness of the coreThe process of creating a strong embossed effect by adjusting the thickness of the leather and the core was done by hand by one Negroni craftsman.This is a technique that is unique to this model and is achieved by the handiwork of a Negroni craftsman.

In addition, the special color "Stealth Gray," which symbolizes the NISSAN GT-R NISMO, is a matte gray upper leather with a matte gray texture without gloss, in order to express the color of the complex body color, whose impression changes depending on sunlight and lighting. The inorganic carbon fiber and red piping line accents create a strong, industrial look. The iconic NISMO logo parts on this model are made of aluminum based on the latest NISMO emblem. It is specially manufactured at an emblem factory in Japan that specializes in automobile emblems.
